Senselessness live (2026)
audio/visual by Robin Félix
full performance, 60 min, YouTube
Senselessness has been evolving since 2023, the year the De l'aube label (CH) was founded. The project is built almost entirely from field recordings, worked through analogue effects and granular synthesisers — raw material sculpted, stretched, concentrated, crushed. The title names the method: a form of creation without apparent logic, held together by the contingencies of altered sounds and rhythms.
This live version brings together the tracks released across the two 12"s (2023, 2026 — see below) and extends the same principle to the image. Each audio clip triggers a video, filmed or found by Robin Félix with no rule set in advance, chosen on instinct — aesthetic, cultural, thematic. The volume of each track governs the opacity of its video: what is heard and what is seen become one, and come apart together. The visual body of work stays open — it grows and recomposes as new footage is gathered, so no two performances will be quite alike. This audio-visual performance has never been staged before.
